It started as a Get Well Gift Business

And it turned into something so much more..... 

When I started Feel Better Box, I wanted it to be Australia's Go-To for get well gifts. And I still do... but gradually I noticed other reasons why loved ones were sending my care packages. It wasn't until I met Claire from Recover from Injury (she's an awesome coach helping people get to grips with life recovering from a serious Injury) who suggested I add a checkbox at my checkout asking people their reason for sending their friend or loved one a care package......

And that's when I realised people were sending the gift boxes because their friends, loved ones, colleagues were often sad or not feeling themselves. They were sending them as a pick me up, a cheer up gift, I'm Thinking of You gift - or Hey, You Got This. Life can send us so many curve balls and so often we all just want to do something to help. Realising this shift I started to adapt and change the way I put my care packages together and what I add to them....

And then I noticed people were sending my care packages as Sympathy Gifts, for all sorts of reasons. I guess I can read between the lines from the massages from the gift cards I write. Some are heart breaking, they bring tears to my eyes are I write other peoples words of sending their love with their sympathies. So many people inspire me with their words of courage and strength. In a world of instagram perfect photos, there is so much that goes on in people lives that at a glance you wouldn't ever know. 

More recently I have been excited to write Happy Birthday cards and New Mum Care Packages. The thought brings joy to me as I go in these new directions too. When I started Feel Better Box I was a new Mum and wanted to reach out and help fellow New Mums. But I just didn't hardly sell any at the beginning. Feel Better Box probably wasn't turning up in Google Searches or maybe my care packages just wasn't what people were looking to send. But as we've evolved into our third year of business - so have our gifts. Soon we'll have new gift cards to better fit these occasions and hope we can reach more of Australia and help they feel loved.

 We are near sending our 3,000 care package and I look to the future and dream of sending so many more to help everyone in Australia Feel Better.
