Way back when I was 22 I was diagnosed with IBS. It came out of the blue and it took me hostage. Food became my enemy, I knew where every toilet was in all destinations I visited and worked. I went from care free early twenties living in London to worry fuelled, sleepless, anxiety filled twenty something.
The reason I am telling you this is because I was in a bad place, the fog was so heavy, I couldn't think straight enough to find my way out. It was my boyfriend (who is now my husband!) who looked up a local hypnotist and made me an appointment. After months of feeling awful and losing weight by the kilo, I told a complete stranger my worries and fears.
And that was the turning point I needed. He helped me sleep, he helped me think in a different way and my body and my anxiety started to ease. This was and still is my journey, but I am forever grateful for my husband and the Hypnotist for helping me out through to the other side of the fog.
And that's exactly the reason why I think it is so important to have a directory of services attached to my website, incase there is someone out there that needs help just like I did.
